Why Install This?

Benefits

  • Dramatically shorter stopping distances and better fade resistance
  • Essential for track use or builds with significant power increases

Things to Know

  • May require specific wheel sizes for clearance
  • Professional installation recommended — requires specialty tools or expertise

What Does This Do?

Baer's big brake kit uses 6-piston calipers and 14-inch rotors to dramatically improve stopping power. The red powder-coated calipers with engraved logo are one of the best-looking brake upgrades available. Benefits: massive improvement in stopping distance, fade-free performance under hard use, and the red calipers visible through the wheels look incredible. The 14-inch rotors provide substantially more friction surface than the stock 13.6-inch units. Direct bolt-on behind 18"+ wheels. Trade-offs: at $3,300, these are a significant investment. The larger rotors add unsprung weight to each corner. Replacement pads are more expensive than stock (typically $100-150 per axle). Installation requires a brake line adapter or new stainless lines. Compared to the Brembo GT-S (380mm, 6-piston), the Baer kit uses slightly smaller rotors but costs $1,000+ less. Compared to the StopTech ST-40 (4-piston), the Baer has more pistons for more even pad wear but costs $1,500 more. For most street + occasional track use, the StopTech is the better value.

Fitment Notes

Requires 18"+ wheels. Check caliper clearance with your specific wheel model.
