Affiliate Disclosure

CarModPlanner participates in retailer affiliate programs. When you click a buy or price-comparison link on this site and complete a qualifying purchase, the retailer pays CarModPlanner a small commission. The price you pay is exactly the same — the retailer absorbs the fee, not you.

Which links earn a commission?

We mark every monetised outbound link with the standard rel="sponsored" attribute, per Google's webmaster guidelines. You can hover any buy button and inspect the link to confirm. Today the affiliate partners we use are routed through Shopper.com under our custom domain shop.carmodplanner.com. Currently AmericanMuscle is the only merchant with affiliate links live; other retailer links you see in price comparisons are plain outbound URLs with no commission attached.

How does this affect what we recommend?

It doesn't. Our part rankings, "best price" flags, compatibility rules, and recommendation engine never weight a part based on whether it pays a commission. The first row in every Price Comparison panel is the retailer with the lowest in-stock listing price for that part — affiliate or not. Our incentives are aligned with helping you pick parts that fit and install cleanly, because that's what brings you back to the site.

FTC compliance

This page exists to comply with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides. Every page that renders an affiliate link also shows a one-line disclosure right next to the links, so you never have to dig for this information.
