What Does This Do?
JBA is one of the original header manufacturers and their HEMI shorties are proven over thousands of installs. The stainless steel construction resists corrosion (important for a part that sees extreme heat and road salt), and the included fire ring gaskets provide a reliable seal that won't blow out like cheaper paper gaskets. Like all shorty headers, these bolt up to your existing mid-pipes — no additional exhaust modifications needed. JBA's tube design balances flow improvement with ground clearance, so you won't scrape going over speed bumps like some long tube setups.
Required Supporting Parts
This header requires additional parts for safe installation. Installing without these can cause serious engine damage.
Long tube headers require matching aftermarket mid-pipes — factory mid-pipes will NOT bolt up because the collector flange sits in a different position. Shorty headers ARE compatible with factory mid-pipes. Check your header type before ordering.
A tune is strongly recommended with headers. Without it, the engine can't optimize fuel delivery for the improved exhaust flow, leaving significant power on the table.
