What Does This Do?
The Predator 2 is DiabloSport's plug-and-play tuning device. It connects to your OBD-II port (under the dashboard) and loads pre-calibrated tunes optimized for each engine platform. Benefits: comes with proven performance tunes out of the box, can adjust transmission shift points and rev limiter, supports custom tunes from professional tuners, and can read/clear diagnostic codes. Trade-offs: like the inTune i3, loading any tune will flag your PCM as modified (affecting warranty). The Predator 2 is slightly bulkier than the inTune i3 but has a larger screen. Pre-loaded tunes are a great starting point but a custom tune ($300-500 from a professional) will always make more power because it's calibrated to YOUR specific combination of mods. The Predator 2 can only be married to one vehicle at a time — to use it on a different car, you must return the original car to stock first.
