Exhaust
Your exhaust system carries spent gases away from the engine. A freer-flowing exhaust lets the engine push gases out faster, which means it can pull fresh air in faster too — more air in means more power out. Beyond performance, the exhaust is the #1 way to change how your Challenger sounds. From a subtle rumble to a full-on race car scream, the exhaust defines your car's voice.
Headers replace the factory cast-iron exhaust manifolds with individual tubes for each cylinder. Long tube headers provide the biggest gains (25-40 HP) by optimizing exhaust pulse tuning across the full RPM range. Shorty headers are easier to install and give about half the gains. Both improve exhaust flow dramatically.
