Why Install This?
Benefits
- Moderate install — doable in a home garage with some mechanical experience
What Does This Do?
The DW300 (340 lph) sits between the stock pump (~255 lph) and the DW400 (415 lph). It's the right choice for mildly supercharged builds running 6-10 PSI of boost. Benefits: drop-in replacement that uses the stock fuel pump module — no cutting, splicing, or modified wiring. 340 lph provides enough flow for up to roughly 550-600 wheel HP on gasoline. The higher flow rate also runs cooler than a maxed-out stock pump, extending pump life. Trade-offs: slightly louder than the stock pump — you may hear a low hum from the rear of the car at idle (normal for high-flow pumps). Requires a tune if paired with larger injectors (the ECU needs to know the fuel system has changed). If you're planning a 15+ PSI build or E85 conversion, skip the 340 and go straight to the DW400 (415 lph) — E85 requires ~30% more fuel flow. For naturally aspirated builds, the stock pump is fine. Size your fuel pump to your planned power level — upgrading to the 340 now and the 415 later means paying twice.
Fitment Notes
Fits 2008-2023 Challenger all HEMI engines.
Tune Required
This part requires an ECU tune to function correctly. Without a tune, the engine computer won't adjust for the new part, potentially causing poor performance, check engine lights, or engine damage.
