What Does This Do?
aFe's Twisted Steel headers are CNC-mandrel bent from 304 stainless steel for smooth, unrestricted exhaust flow. The 1-7/8" primary tubes are sized perfectly for the 6.4L HEMI — large enough for great flow without losing exhaust velocity. The merge collectors use a performance-optimized design that reduces turbulence where the individual tubes come together. Like all long tube headers, these REQUIRE matching mid-pipes (factory mid-pipes won't bolt up) and a tune to recalibrate the engine for the improved exhaust flow. The gains are substantial — 25-40 HP depending on the rest of your setup.
Required Supporting Parts
This header requires additional parts for safe installation. Installing without these can cause serious engine damage.
Long tube headers require matching aftermarket mid-pipes — factory mid-pipes will NOT bolt up because the collector flange sits in a different position. Shorty headers ARE compatible with factory mid-pipes. Check your header type before ordering.
A tune is strongly recommended with headers. Without it, the engine can't optimize fuel delivery for the improved exhaust flow, leaving significant power on the table.
