What Does This Do?

Injector Dynamics 1000cc injectors are the heavy hitters — designed for high-boost forced induction builds making 600+ wheel HP. At 1000cc (~95lb/hr), these can support massive amounts of fuel flow. Benefits: ID's proprietary linear response curve means the injectors behave predictably across the entire flow range, which makes tuning easier and more precise. Matched to 1% accuracy. Compatible with E85 flex fuel (which requires ~30% more fuel flow than gasoline). Trade-offs: these are seriously oversized for anything other than a high-HP build. On a stock or mildly modified engine, the ECU can't pulse them short enough for good idle quality — the engine will run rich and rough. A custom tune is absolutely mandatory. At $789, they're expensive, but they're essentially buy-once-cry-once — you won't outgrow them unless you're building a 1000+ HP race motor. Only install these if your build actually needs them. For most bolt-on + supercharger builds, the DeatschWerks 52lb injectors are more appropriate.
