Why Install This?

Benefits

  • Better heat dissipation means more consistent braking under repeated hard stops
  • Slotted/drilled rotors help gas escape for better wet-weather performance
  • Easy bolt-on installation — most people can do this in their driveway with basic tools

What Does This Do?

Rear rotors do less braking work than fronts (roughly 30% vs 70%), but they're still critical for balanced braking and emergency stopping. These Power Stop slotted rotors improve heat dissipation and pad bite on the rear axle. Benefits: the slot pattern keeps the pads clean and degassed for consistent bite, zinc plating prevents the rust that makes rear rotors look terrible behind open-spoke wheels, and they're a direct OEM replacement. Trade-offs: rear rotors are a lower-priority upgrade than fronts. Unless you're upgrading your entire braking system, focus on front rotors and pads first. These matter most for track use or when combined with a full brake upgrade (front and rear rotors + pads + stainless lines + fluid). For street-only driving, stock rear rotors last 50,000-80,000 miles and are perfectly adequate.

Technical Details

Cross-drilled and slotted rear rotors for improved heat dissipation and pad deglazing. Zinc-plated for corrosion resistance. Direct OEM replacement — rear pair.
