Why Install This?

Benefits

  • Moderate install — doable in a home garage with some mechanical experience

What Does This Do?

The stock HEMI fuel pump flows about 255 liters per hour — enough for a stock engine but NOT enough for a supercharged or turbocharged engine. DeatschWerks' DW400 flows 415 lph, giving you 63% more fuel capacity. This is a drop-in replacement for the stock pump — it uses the same connector and fits in the stock fuel tank cradle. If you're installing a supercharger, this is not optional — running out of fuel under boost (lean condition) causes detonation that will destroy pistons and head gaskets within seconds. This pump supports up to approximately 750 HP on gasoline or 600 HP on E85.

Fitment Notes

Fits 2008-2023 Challenger all HEMI engines.

Tune Required

This part requires an ECU tune to function correctly. Without a tune, the engine computer won't adjust for the new part, potentially causing poor performance, check engine lights, or engine damage.
