Why Install This?
Benefits
- Pushes wheels out for a wider, more aggressive stance
- Can improve handling by widening the track width
- Easy bolt-on installation — most people can do this in their driveway with basic tools
Things to Know
- Use hub-centric spacers only — and always torque to spec
What Does This Do?
Wheel spacers push your wheels outward for a wider, more aggressive stance. They also increase the track width, which improves cornering stability. These Eibach spacers use a hub-centric design that fits perfectly over the hub ring for zero vibration. Benefits: instant visual improvement — the wheels sit flush with the fenders instead of tucked in. The wider track width means more stability in corners. The 20mm thickness is enough to be visible but conservative enough to avoid most fender rubbing issues. Hub-centric design means no vibration at speed. Trade-offs: spacers put additional stress on wheel bearings because they move the wheel's contact patch further from the bearing. Over 100,000+ miles, this can accelerate bearing wear. Wider stance can cause tire rubbing on full-lock steering if combined with lowering. You need longer wheel studs or adapter bolts (included with quality spacers). Some insurance companies and inspectors frown on spacers. For a clean look without rubbing concerns, 15mm spacers are safer; for maximum flush look, 25mm is more aggressive.
