What Does This Do?
BC Racing coilovers are the value option for adjustable suspension. 30 clicks of damping adjustment let you go from comfortable street to stiff track. Benefits: full height adjustability, included camber plates for front alignment correction, mono-tube design for consistent performance, and the price is roughly half of KW or Öhlins. They're the most popular coilovers in the drift and autocross community for good reason. Trade-offs: the damping isn't as refined as KW — on the softest setting, the ride is still noticeably firmer than stock. Build quality is good but not German-level — some owners report squeaking from the pillow-ball top mounts after 2-3 years. Rebuild service is available but not as seamless as KW's lifetime service. For a weekend autocross or track car, these are fantastic. For a daily driver where ride comfort matters, spend more for the KW V3 or stick with quality lowering springs.
