What You'll Need
Professional installation recommended. Requires supporting mods: upgraded fuel injectors, a custom tune, and ideally upgraded spark plugs. Stock engine internals can handle ~8 PSI on the 6.4L but the 5.7L may need forged internals for reliability.

Why Install This?
Benefits
- Major power gains — one of the highest-impact upgrades you can make
- Forced induction delivers massive power across the entire RPM range
- Transforms the character of the car — significantly faster acceleration
Things to Know
- Requires supporting mods (fuel system, tune) for safe operation
- May affect warranty if not dealer-installed
- Professional installation recommended — requires specialty tools or expertise
What Does This Do?
A supercharger is a belt-driven air compressor that forces extra air into your engine — this is called 'forced induction.' More air + more fuel = way more power. The ProCharger P-1SC-1 is a centrifugal design that mounts to the front of the engine and spins up to 50,000+ RPM. It builds boost progressively as RPM climbs, making it feel like the car gets angrier the faster you go. Benefits: massive power gains (130-150+ HP), bolt-on kit that's reversible, centrifugal design keeps underhood temps lower than roots blowers. Trade-offs: centrifugal superchargers make most of their boost at high RPM, so low-end torque isn't as dramatic as a Whipple or Magnuson. The belt can squeal until broken in. Installation is complex (10-16 hours). CRITICAL: even though this is a 'complete kit,' you MUST have upgraded fuel injectors and a proper tune. Running boost without enough fuel = catastrophic engine damage within minutes.
Required Supporting Parts
This supercharger kit requires additional parts for safe installation. Installing without these can cause serious engine damage.
A custom ECU tune is REQUIRED for any supercharger installation. The factory tune cannot manage boost, and running a supercharger on a stock tune will cause dangerous lean conditions and likely engine damage.
Supercharger 'Tuner Kit' purchases REQUIRE upgraded fuel injectors. Complete kits include injectors. Without enough fuel flow, the engine will run dangerously lean under boost, causing detonation and catastrophic engine damage. Verify your kit type before proceeding.
A fuel pump upgrade is strongly recommended for supercharged builds. The stock pump may not supply enough fuel volume at high RPM under boost. This is critical for engine safety — fuel starvation under boost destroys engines.
Cooling upgrades (radiator, thermostat) are strongly recommended with a supercharger. Forced induction dramatically increases heat — the stock cooling system may not keep up, especially in hot weather or traffic.
Colder spark plugs are recommended with a supercharger. Higher combustion temperatures under boost can cause pre-ignition with stock-heat-range plugs.
Fitment Notes
Fits 5.7L R/T and 6.4L Scat Pack/SRT. NOT compatible with Hellcat 6.2L (uses different supercharger).
Tune Required
This part requires an ECU tune to function correctly. Without a tune, the engine computer won't adjust for the new part, potentially causing poor performance, check engine lights, or engine damage.
Technical Details
Centrifugal supercharger producing 7-8 psi of boost. Complete intercooled system with all hardware. Gains of 130+ HP on 5.7L, 150+ HP on 6.4L.
