The engine is the heart of your Challenger — every performance mod either helps it breathe better, burn fuel more efficiently, or force more air in. These upgrades range from simple bolt-on air intakes to complete supercharger kits. Even small changes to how air and fuel get into the engine can make a noticeable difference in how the car feels.
Fuel injectors spray precisely metered fuel into each cylinder. Stock injectors have a maximum flow rate — if you're adding a supercharger or running E85 fuel, you'll exceed that limit. Upgraded injectors flow more fuel to keep up with the extra air. Running out of fuel on a boosted engine is extremely dangerous (lean condition), so this is a safety-critical upgrade for forced induction builds.
