What Does This Do?
The 52lb/hr injectors are the mid-range option in DeatschWerks' HEMI lineup — sized for mildly supercharged builds running 6-10 PSI of boost. The stock HEMI injectors flow about 39lb/hr, which maxes out around 450-500 wheel HP. Benefits: matched and balanced to within 1% flow accuracy, drop-in fitment with factory connectors, enough flow for moderate boost without the drivability issues of oversized injectors. Trade-offs: these REQUIRE a custom tune. Too-large injectors on a stock engine create poor idle quality and rich conditions because the ECU can't pulse them short enough at low loads. The 52lb size is specifically for moderate builds — if you're running 15+ PSI of boost, step up to the 1000cc Injector Dynamics. If you're running 6 PSI or less, the stock injectors with a tune may actually be sufficient. Size your injectors to your build — don't overbuy.
Tune Required
This part requires an ECU tune to function correctly. Without a tune, the engine computer won't adjust for the new part, potentially causing poor performance, check engine lights, or engine damage.
