What Does This Do?
The factory mid-section has resonators that quiet the exhaust. A resonator delete removes them and replaces the section with an X-shaped crossover pipe. The X-pipe design allows exhaust pulses from the left and right banks to merge, which smooths out the sound and creates a higher-pitched, more exotic tone compared to a straight pipe or H-pipe. Combined with an aftermarket cat-back, this is how you get a full exhaust transformation. Note: this makes the car significantly louder — if you already have an aggressive cat-back like a Flowmaster Outlaw, adding a resonator delete on top may be too much for daily driving.
