Why Install This?

Benefits

  • Holds more torque than stock — essential if adding forced induction
  • Prevents clutch slip under hard launches and high-power situations

Things to Know

  • Performance clutches often have a stiffer pedal feel
  • Professional installation recommended — requires specialty tools or expertise

What Does This Do?

When you exceed 600-700 ft-lbs of torque on a manual Challenger, even a quality single-disc clutch will start slipping. McLeod's RST twin-disc uses two friction discs instead of one, nearly doubling the clamping area. More surface area = more holding power without needing insane pedal pressure. The RST is designed to be streetable — the dual discs engage progressively rather than grabbing violently like a race clutch. You can still drive in traffic without your left leg getting a workout. Rated to 800 ft-lbs, this handles supercharged and cam'd builds with room to spare. Requires transmission removal to install.

Fitment Notes

Fits Challenger with TR-6060 manual transmission.
