Your brakes are the most important safety system on the car, and if you're adding power, you need to add stopping ability too. Stock brakes are designed for a stock car — once you start making more power and driving harder, they can overheat and 'fade' (get soft and ineffective). Brake Lines
Stock brake lines are rubber, which expands slightly under pressure — this is what causes spongy pedal feel during hard braking. Stainless steel braided lines don't expand, giving you a firmer, more precise pedal. Combined with high-temp brake fluid, they're essential for track use.
