Brakes
Your brakes are the most important safety system on the car, and if you're adding power, you need to add stopping ability too. Stock brakes are designed for a stock car — once you start making more power and driving harder, they can overheat and 'fade' (get soft and ineffective). Brake upgrades range from simple pad swaps to complete big brake kits with massive rotors and multi-piston calipers.
Brake Lines
Stock brake lines are rubber, which expands slightly under pressure — this is what causes spongy pedal feel during hard braking. Stainless steel braided lines don't expand, giving you a firmer, more precise pedal. Combined with high-temp brake fluid, they're essential for track use.
