What Does This Do?
The throttle body is the valve between your air intake and engine — when you press the gas pedal, it opens this valve to let air in. The stock one is about 80mm; this BBK 1843 is 90mm, allowing significantly more airflow. On its own the gains are modest (5-10 HP), but it really shines when paired with a cold air intake and a tune. Think of it as removing a bottleneck in the air path. This is a true bolt-on — four bolts and a gasket, about 30 minutes with basic hand tools.
