What Does This Do?
ATI's lightweight crank pulley replaces the heavy stock harmonic balancer with a precision-balanced, SFI-approved unit that weighs significantly less. The underdrive ratio slows accessories like the alternator and A/C compressor, reducing parasitic drag on the engine. You won't notice any difference in charging or cooling on the street, but you will feel the freed-up horsepower. This is one of the simplest bolt-on mods available — remove the old balancer with a puller, slide the new one on, and torque the bolt. Great paired with a cold air intake and tune for a complete Stage 1 setup.
